This L series 8D was built in Elkhart in 1968, the golden age of 8D's! Cosmetically it's just fair-to-good, with a significant amount of lacquer wear. It has a fair amount of inconsequential dents but everything works. Because it's all nickel silver red rot isn't a concern. The valves have been (very well) rebuilt and the horn is tight. The fourth valve is string-actuated and all the valves a re quiet and fast.

The horn has been thoroughly cleaned and adjusted and the valve bumpers have been replaced.  The original case is included.
