This is an adjustable cup mute with a felt-lined cup, and is capable of producing a wide spectrum of tone color, depending on the proximity of the cup. It has an even response throughout the register and is very free blowing. Intonation is maintained whether in the fully closed or open position. With a plethora of cup mutes on the market, I have tried to arrive at a sound that would easily blend in. Made in the UK.
