Vincent Bach Cornet Mouthpieces are still the standard in the trumpet/cornet world.
#27 throat is standard on most models. Exceptions: The Bach 5V has a #20 throat. The 5SV and 5MV have a #25 throat. The 6BM has a #26 throat.
Throat and backbore alterations, threading cups, rims, and back-bores, and conversion to the Reeves Sleeve system takes one-to-two days.
Gold plating takes about three weeks.
Cups with no letter designations have deep cups and #10 back-bores
"A" models have very deep cups & #24 back-bores
"B" models have medium-deep cups and #7 back-bores
"C" models have medium cups & #10 back-bores
"D" models have medium-shallow cups & #76 back-bores
"E" models have shallow cups & #117 back-bores
"F" models have extra-shallow cups & #76 back-bores
"W" models have a wide cushion rim
