NO HASSLE RETURNS
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you wish to return an item purchased from our webstore, please navigate to your osmun.com customer account and review your past orders. Select the order from which you wish to return an item and select refund. That will send us a notification about your request. Mail your item back to us with the original invoice. Once it arrives, you will receive a notification from us on the status of your return.
New instruments ordered from stock, pre-owned instruments
Instruments may be returned up to seven days from receipt. Any returned instruments must be clean, undamaged, unmodified, include all the original packing materials, accessories, warranty cards, etc., and are subject to a 5% restocking fee. In addition, new unlacquered instruments are subject to a clean-up charge. The buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance charges in both directions. If you wish to return an instrument please call us for authorization.
Custom and Special Order Instruments
Blueprinted instruments are non-returnable. Custom and special order instruments from Alexander, Finke, Schmid, and Osmun may be returned within fourteen days of receipt for consignment resale. Unlacquered instruments are subject to a clean-up charge. The buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance charges in both directions. Instruments kept more than fourteen days cannot be resold as new and will be pro-rated. Instruments kept over thirty days will be accepted for consignment under our regular consignment sale terms. If you wish to return an instrument please call us for authorization.
Accessories
Accessories may be returned up to 14 days from receipt. Any returned accessories must be in new, resalable condition and include all the original packing materials, warranty cards, etc. The buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance charges in both directions

Mouthpieces
We believe our mouthpiece return policy is one of the most liberal in the industry. We want you to feel confident in your choice. Mouthpiece components may be returned for a refund less a 15% restocking charge within fourteen days from the original delivery date. Mouthpieces kept 14 to 30 days may be returned for store credit less a 25% restocking charge. Mouthpieces kept over thirty days are non-returnable.
Components to be returned must be in new, resalable condition, with original packaging and our invoice number. (Light insertion marks are OK, at our discretion.) Components that have been damaged or modified in any way, custom components, or special orders are not returnable. The buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance charges in both directions.
Mouthpieces ordered with backbore and throat alterations and special orders cannot be returned.
