Our Star mouthpiece cups have 1mm thick cup walls which follow the contour of the inner cup. This harkens back to the days of sheet metal mouthpieces. These cups are a third lighter than our standard series cups. They are very responsive and secure in the upper register. If your playing requires you to play in the upper register for long periods of time, these cups are for you. They're marked with a star to differentiate them from our standard cups. The threads are PHC/Paxman-standard.
*Please note that our Osmun horn mouthpieces are mostly made-to-order and typically are not readily available in pre-made inventory. The average production time for a mouthpiece is approximately 6–8 weeks. We appreciate your understanding and patience as you wait for your mouthpiece to be made.
