Our Star mouthpiece cups have 1mm thick cup walls which follow the contour of the inner cup. This harkens back to the days of sheet metal mouthpieces. These cups are a third lighter than our standard series cups. They are very responsive and secure in the upper register. If your playing requires you to play in the upper register for long periods of time, these cups are for you. They're marked with a star to differentiate them from our standard cups. The threads are Giardinelli-standard.

H (Haydn) Our shallowest cup, it’s designed to facilitate work in the upper tessitura of the instrument. Offered as stock with 16 or 14 throat. (Other sizes available as special orders.)

CH (Chicago) The quintessential American mouthpiece. Modeled after the original Farkas model. Moderately deep with fairly straight sides, it produces an even timbre with complex overtones.
